ABOUT ME
I am a driven journalist with a strong track record of growth and leadership across broadcast, digital, and social platforms.
I began my career in television as a part-time production assistant, where I went beyond my role, shadowing producers and contributing to show writing. Within six months, I was promoted to producer and I continued to take on additional special projects outside of the day-to-day newscast. Within two years, I was promoted again, to Executive Producer.
I produced political debates, wall-to-wall coverage of live events, and a long-form magazine show. I also spearheaded content for an original climate series, “Forecasting Our Future,” demonstrating my ability to develop and execute meaningful, forward-thinking stories.
In addition to my broadcast responsibilities, I've served as the sole overnight manager —overseeing the tv product as well as the station's website and social media platforms. I write and publish breaking news while also producing longer-form digital stories that incorporate dynamic elements, including video, design and infographics.
I bring a strong editorial vision, a collaborative leadership style, and a commitment to producing journalism that informs and resonates with the community.
